Like many companies over the last six months or so, we have had to re-think our business model and pivot our operations to an online service delivery model.

Although it might have been true six or maybe 12 months ago that many students have never had any experience with online education – that’s probably not true today – as a result of the global impact of the Covid-19 virus.

We believe that Google Classroom is an easy way to help students with this transition because it is user-friendly, making it a great intro to technology.

Because everything is posted online, Google Classroom gives our students access to materials no matter where they are.

Because we can set up many different classrooms, Google Classroom is a great tool for the differentiation of our courses, as it allows us to create a number of classrooms, whenever we need to – if that can help improve learning outcomes – so it is a great, flexible way to ensure that every student gets just what they need, and we can easily delete and recreate classes as required.

We will work in Google Drive, so everyone’s work saves automatically and there’s no fear of anything being lost. With a few short lesson tips on how to properly use these online tools, students can experience more success in getting organized.

It’s been proven time and time again that students are engaged by technology. Google Classroom can help students become and stay engaged in the learning process. If you have students answer questions in the Classroom, for example, other students can comment on these answers and deepen thought for both students.

We hope that all of our learners find that using Google Classroom is definitely worthwhile. The Classroom is supported by lots of other Apps to aid learning, and in particular, the use of Google Meet – the video platform which our students can access 24/7 for Speaking Practice, collaboration on assigned tasks in all different group sizes from two to 250!

As it is a specific Learning Management System it also ensures that there is a truly controlled learning space – which our students know cannot be accessed by outside parties – so the learning experience is prioritised above anything else – which is exactly what people have come to us for.
